Congratulations to Dr. Ruth Calderon, a graduate of the first cohort of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership and former member of Knesset, on receiving an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Brandeis University.

 

Congratulations to MK Michael Biton, a graduate of Cohort 18 of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership, on his appointment as a Minister in Israel's Defense Ministry, as a representative of the Blue and White party.​

 

​Congratulations to Tali Gavish, a graduate of Cohort 9 of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership, on her appointment as director and editor in chief of the Ascolot School of Interdisciplinary Studies of The Open University of Israel.

 

​Congratulations to Itsik Shachar, a graduate of Cohort 24 of the Mandel School of Educational Leadership and principal of the Herzog Branco-Weiss School in Beit Hashmonai, on his school's receipt of the Ministry of Education's award for education for social and civic engagement and contribution to the community for 2019–2018.

 

​Congratulations to Arie Kizel, a graduate of Cohort 16 of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership, on his appointment as associate professor in the department of learning, instruction, and teacher education at the faculty of education of the University of Haifa. Professor Kizel is the head of the master's program in pedagogical development of educational systems.

 

Congratulations to Eilat Deutsch, a graduate of Cohort 9 of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership, on her appointment as vice president of pedagogy at the Center for Educational Technology (CET).​

 

​Congratulations to Yonit Naaman, a graduate of the Cohort 8 of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership, on being awarded the Prime Minister Levi Eshkol Prize for Literature for 2019. An editor and poet, Yonit was cited by the judges as "a very important voice in Hebrew poetry today."
