Engendering an ethos and consciousness of shared responsibility, a “responsibility pact”; creating a society in which we are responsible for one another, without dismissing anyone or trying to “instill values,” and believe in the possibility, the necessity, and the advantage of living together. Only in this way will we be able to overcome our loss of faith in being able to live here together, which leads to the despair and internal tensions between different “tribes” in Israeli society which tear us apart.
