The involvement of teachers in developing their students’ learning, thinking, and experiences is of critical importance. Any reform seeking to improve the education system must focus on promoting and developing teachers’ abilities. The best path to teachers’ professional development involves forming professional communities that regularly discuss and explore pedagogical and educational issues, and that experiment with teaching, learning, thinking, and experiential processes in a constant cycle of planning, implementation, and evaluation.
